The Daedra Shrine

Come...Into Oblivion

Azura's Artifact

Azura's Star

A powerful reusable soul gem given to the Nerevarine after completing Azura's Quest. Azura's Star can hold powerful souls such as Almalexia and Vivec. In Morrowind, Azura asks the player to destroy the lesser Daedra Sheogorath sent to cheat on a wager. In Oblivion, the player must kill five vampires who where Azura's worshippers. In other words, "Putting them to rest".

Hircine's Artifact

Cuirass of the Savior's Hide

It provides a small resistance to magic. In Morrowind, the player can find the cuirass in a heavily locked cupboard in Tel Fyr. In Oblivion, the armor can be obtained by completing Hircine's Quest. By killing a Unicorn and bringing the horn back to the shrine.

Boethiah's Artifact

Goldbrand

A golden katana with a fire damage enchantment. In Morrowind, one can receive the item after completing Boethiah's quest. First, the player must find the sunken shrine a little way northwest of the ruin of Ashurnibibi. Then, you have to find the Orc artisan in Ghorak Manor in Caldera. He tells you to find the book "Boethiah's Glory" sold by Jobasha in "Jobasha's Rare Books" in the Foreign Quarter Waistworks in Vivec. He also requires 2000 gold for the project. Then, head to Khartag Point after 25 days, and speak to the new statue. The weapon is no longer available after 45 days. In Oblivion, the player has to do Boethiah's Quest. The quest involves battling one warrior from each race exept your own.

Molag Bal's Artifact

Mace of Molag Bal

The mace has strength and magic draining enchantments. In Morrowind, Molag Bal gives you a quest. His shrine can be found in Yansirramus. Which is two island west of Tel Aruhn. Bal tells you about Menta Na who lives in a cave called Kora-Dur. He then gives you a key and tells you to kill Na. Kora-Dur can be found east of Kogoruhn. Menta Na can be found in the inner most chamber. In Oblivion, Bal tells you about a man named Melus Petilius in Brindle Home. Your mission is to corrupt him enough that he kills you with a Cursed Mace that Molag provides for you.
Brindle Home is just a short distance to the southwest of Molag Bal's Shrine. Talk with one of the townsfolk, such as Astante, to learn that Melus "did wonders for the folks" around Brindle Home. However, his wife Vena caught fever and died. Melus has never forgave himself and has swore never to pick up a weapon again. He lives alone in a small home on the southwest edge of town, near where he buried his wife. Apparently he visits her grave every day, at 10:00am. Follow him out to the gravesite just to the east of his home and then drop the Cursed Mace in front of the tombstone. If you strike up a conversation with him, he'll ask that you leave him alone. Take a swing at him and his emotions will send him into a rage, forcing him to pick up the mace from the ground and beat you to death with it. Of course, you don't actually die. Instead, you're transported to Molag Bal's Shrine when your health dwindles to nothing. Molag Bal is very pleased. As a reward, the Daedric god provides you with the Mace of Molag Bal.

Clavicus Vile's Artifact

Masque of Clavicus Vile

Wearing the mask will give you a good personality boost. In Morrowind, the mask can be found on Sorkvild the Raven, who resides in a Dwemer Tower near Dagon Fel. In Oblivion, you must complete the quest. Vile wants you to bring him the Umbra Sword in exchange for the mask. To get the sword, you have to defeat the female warrior named Umbra. Vile's dog, Barbas, is in your inventory as a "Statuette of a Dog". He insists that you've made a bad deal, and to just leave things be. Of course, the player has a choice. To keep the sword, or give it away for the mask.

Mehrunes Dagon's Artifacts

Mehrunes Razor

A very powerful weapon with the power to instantly kill with It's Banishing Magic. It also has the ability to capture the soul of the banished enemy. In Morrowind, the Razor is given to the player when they complete Dagon's Daedric Quest. You must take the Rusty Dagger from an ancestoral tomb in the Molag Amur region. Bringing it back to Dagon, he will restore It's powers and hand it over to you. In. Oblivion, however, you get the dagger from the Aylied City of Varsa Baliim. Included in the Knights of the Nine downloadable content pack.

Daedric Crescent

Daedric Crescents were invented by Mehrunes Dagon when he launched an attack on Tamriel. Hordes of Daedra armed with Crescents devastated the Academy of Battlespire. After the invasion, the Emperor ordered all Crescents to be destroyed, but one piece survived. It was apparently stolen by a powerful Daedra named Magas Volar and hidden in one of Oblivion's many fragments. The only way into that fragment was by activating a amulet specifically designed for that purpose. In Morrowind, this amulet is kept in possession of an Divayth Fyr. The Crescent paralyzes the target on touch and deals severe damage to any armor it is wearing.

Herma-Mora's Artifact

Oghma Infinium

Is a skill book given to the player only in Oblivion. You obtain it through his quest, which can only be done after all the other Daedric Quests. For the quest, you need to take the souls from one person of each race. Reading the book will increase certain skills by 10 depending on what path the player chooses.

Path of Steel: Strength, Speed, Blade, Blunt, and Heavy Armor

Path of Shadow: Speed, Acrobatics, Sneak, Security, Light Armor

Path of Spirit: Intelligence, Willpower, Destruction, Conjuration, Restoration

Mephala's Artifacts

Ring of Khajiit

The Ring of Khajiit has powerful Chameleon and Fortify Speed enchantments upon it, making the user faster and hard to spot. In Morrowind, the player must poison a former Morag-Tong member. Afterwards, speaking to the altar in the Hideout (Which is located in the Vivec Arena Waistworks Storage Room.) will earn you the ring. In Oblivion, Meridia gives the player the ring for completing her quest.

Ebony Blade

The Webspinner Mephala rewards her faithful with an Ebony Blade. The Blade has Silence and Absorb Health Enchantments, which are helpful against mage enemies. You're to travel to Bleaker's Way and kill the leaders of the two families there. You're not to get caught, either, and you must leave evidence that implicates the other family for each murder. Make the short trek to Bleaker's Way by heading west, crossing the Silver Road along the way. When you arrive in the small town, pay a visit to Kirsten in the Goodwill Inn. When you inquire about Bleaker's Way, she'll give you a quick history about the town and then mention that Hrol Ulfgar and Nivan Dalvilu are considered its leaders. Further questioning reveals that Hrol leads the Ulfgar clan and is fierce with an axe, and that Nivan leads the Dalvilu family and is a powerful wizard. Nivan's home is just outside the inn, so that should probably be your first destination. Depending on what time you arrive, the door may be locked, so use any lockpicking skills or Open spells that you have. Once inside, grab the Dalvilu Cermonial Dagger on the table near Nivan's bed. This is one piece of "evidence" you'll need to plant after killing Hrol. Don't kill Nivan just yet. Instead, break into Hrol Ulfgar's home and steal the Ulfgar Family Ring on a table on the second floor. This is the second piece of "evidence" you'll need to pull off the shifty murders appropriately.

Namira's Arifact

Ring of Namira

It has the ability to reflect some of the strength of both physical and magical attacks. She asks that you lend aid to the Forgotten, a group of fanatical worshippers that live within the depths of the Ayleid ruin Anga. Some priests of Arkay are planning to save The Forgotten and bring them to "the light", but Namira does not want this to happen. She teaches you the Namira's Shroud spell so that you can use it on the Arkay priests. This will cast a darkness on the priests of light and allow the Forgotten Ones to finish them off. For "cleansing her followers' darkness", Namira rewards you with the Ring of Namira.

Sanguine's Artifact

Sanguine Rose

It has the ability to summon a random Daedra. Sanguine asks you to perform a service. The Countess of Leyawiin is too stuffy for the Daedric god's tastes and will be hosting another one of her "excrutiating dinner parties." Sanguine wants you to liven up the party, and even teaches you a spell called Stark Reality. You're to cast the spell on the Countess and her guests and Sanguine promises that it will make the party much more interesting. You must remain inconspicuous, though, or they might kill you for being there. The party is invitation-only, too, so you'll also have to find a way in before you can do anything. Wait around until 5:00 - 6:00pm, then move into the main throne room and hang a right. The dinner party is just behind the door in front of you. When you approach the door, the guard tells you that you don't look like one of the party guests and that your name is not on the list. Inquire about the dinner party, and the guard might simply let you go in. It all depends on what you're wearing. The more upscale your clothing or armor is, the more likely the guard is to let you in without a fuss. Even if you're wearing something the guard doesn't like, hand him a couple of bribes until his Disposition increases to 70+ and he'll let you go in anyway. Once inside, find a good place to fire the spell so that it will affect the whole table, making sure you have plenty of clearance to run out of the castle once it's done (all the guards become hostile immediately). Cast the spell and watch the guests immediately lose all of their clothing. If you don't get a popup journal message that you've completed the quest, cast the spell again until you do. You have lost all of your clothing as well. Your best bet is to just run out of the castle, then exit the city and fast-travel back to the Shrine of Sanguine. He deems your performance a "rousing success" and is happy to see that you joined in the festivities as well. He'll tell you that all of your equipment is in the nearby chest, and then will present you with the Sanguine Rose as a reward for your efforts.

Nocturnal's Artifact

Skeleton Key

Though it does not have a Security boost in Morrowind, the Skeleton Key is a 50-use lockpick that will open any lock. It is given to you by Gentleman Jim Stacey at the end of the Thieves' Guild quest line. In Oblivion, the Skeleton Key is an unbreakable lockpick that boosts security by 40 points. It is the reward for recovering Noctunal's Eye. Pay a visit to Weebam-Na's home just across the road from Leyawiin's only house for sale. When asked about the jewel, neither he or Bejeen will claim that they know anything about it.Your journal will suggest that you eavesdrop on their coversation, so exit the home and come back in sneaking. Stay in the hallway near the door and you'll hear that Bejeen is worried that trolls might eat the jewel. Weebam-Na doesn't think that trolls like water, so feels that the Eye will be perfectly safe at Tidewater Cave. Exit Leyawiin to the east and follow the coastline to the south until you reach Tidewater Cave. Navigate the tunnels until you reach an underwater passage that immediately leads to a deadend. Here you'll find the Eye of Nocturnal simply floating in the water. Grab it, then return to the surface and fast-travel to Nocturnal's Shrine. As a reward for finding the jewel, Nocturnal gives you the Skeleton Key.

Varmina's Artifact

Skull of Corruption

The Skull of Corruption is a staff which has the ability to create an evil clone of the humanoid it hits. The Daedra Lord will ask you to retrieve an orb that has been stolen by a wizard named Arkved. The wizard has taken the orb to his tower. Leave the House of Shadow and make the trek to Arkved's Tower to the southwest (it sits on top of the first "e" in "The Nibenay Basin"). You must enter the dungeon below the tower. The first level is short and you'll only have to do battle with a couple of Daedria to reach the next level, called "Arked's Void." Traverse the large stone bridges until you reach another door leading into "Arkved's Lost Halls." Hack your way through the Daedria until you reach yet another door leading to "Arkved's Hall of Changes". Don't enter either of the doorways leading to "Arkved's Oasis" or you'll reach a very strange level that places you outside the tower surrounded by an Oblivion landscape and the Plane's hot lava-like liquid. Two Daedria await you in the entrance chamber in the Hall of Changes, as well as a trapped stone that will launch bolts of frost at you. Don't take either of the side passages - the left one is a deadend, and the right one just leads to a skeleton. The door on the opposite wall is the one you want. When you reach the room with Headless Zombies lying on stone slabs, take the door on your right to enter a hallway leading to the southeast. This brings you to another guarded and trapped room, where a door off to your left leads to a trap door in the floor. Head into the trap door to reach "Arkved's Rending Halls". The Rending Halls are heavily guarded by Daedria. Keep moving until you reach a stone stairway littered with zombie bodies. Ascend the stairs and you'll find a ladder leading to the tower's final level, "Arkved's Death Quarters". You've reached Arkved, but you won't be doing battle with him. He lies in a bed completely unconscious. Search his desk in the corner to find the Orb of Vaermina and some rare texts. Arkved's handwritten note offers some explanation to what happened with the tower and why it's in a dream-like state. Once you have the orb, use the opposite door to reach the Nibenay Basin and then fast-travel back to Vaermina's Shrine. Vaermina then presents you with the Skull of Corruption as a reward.

Sheogorath's Artifacts

Spear of Bitter Mercy

It is rewarded for completing Sheogorath's quest. In Morrowind, Sheogorath's Shrine is in the St. Delyn Underworks. He tells you to find Big-Head. An Argonian living on a small island northwest of the large island Dagon Fel is on. In his hut, grab the Fork of Horripilation, and head south. Use the Fork to kill the Giant Netch, then return to Sheo's Shrine to collect your reward. The Spear and the Fork both make an appearance in the Oblivion expantion, Shivering Isles.

Wabbajack

This weapon makes no appearance in Morrowind. Known only as Wabbajack, this mysterious staff changes any enemy into another random creature. This can completely change a battle by transforming an enemy into something weaker- or possibly something much stronger. As with most all of Sheogorath's work, it should be used with caution.Sheogorath gives you this confusing and potentially battle-changing weapon upon completing his quest, which involves causing chaos by making an apocalyptic prophesy come true in the Khajiiti village of Border Watch. Evidence of Sheogorath's madness can be seen in the final 'sign', where he causes the sky to redden and rain flaming dogs.

Peryite's Artifact

Spell Breaker

Peryite will tell you that his followers are an embarassment. They cast a spell to summon Peryite, but the incantation trapped their souls in Oblivion and left their bodies here. Peryite asks that you reunite their souls with their bodies and offers to send you to the Plane of Oblivion to do so. When all five souls are collected, the god promises to return you to his shrine. You're given some time to prepare, and the next time you approach the shrine you'll be asked to travel to Oblivion. All five souls are spread out across the entire area. None of them are located indoors, so you can avoid entering the Sightless Grottos or Blood Well. Keep moving through the area, killing all the Oblivion denizens you come across. When all five souls are freed, you'll receive a journal entry to return to your entrance point. When you get back, a portal to the Nibenay Valley will be waiting for you. Arriving back at Peryite's Shrine, you'll see that all five followers have gone back to their duties. Approach the shrine once more and Peryite will thank you for restoring the natural order. As a reward, he presents you with a very powerful shield called Spell Breaker.

Malacath's Artifact

Volendrung

The Hammer originally appears in Daggerfall, as a quest reward from Malacath. In Morrowind, it appears in the closet of Yagrum Bagarn, the Last Living Dwarf. In Morrowind it is generally useless as a weapon, having lost its magic abilities. In Oblivion, the hammer appears in the hands of Malacath, and can be received by the player as reward for completing Malacath's quest. As in Daggerfall and Arena, the hammer is magically enhanced, though it drains health rather than strength.
